Based in Berlin, FSG Fernsteuergeräte was founded in 1946. FSG is mainly involved in developing and manufacturing high-quality sensors and transmitters and is now one of the leading suppliers of measuring systems.
Over the years, FSG has enhanced its linear and angular transmitter systems with a large variety of user-friendly system solutions. 350 staff members are employed in our factories at Berlin, Kablow and Heppenheim - roughly thirty percent of them work in development, sales and quality assurance.

Angle and length measurement in hazardous areas: Rope length transmitters and encoders from FSG
FSG will present new versions of its proven rope length transmitters which are suitable for hazardous areas. The units can be used to cost-efficiently solve positioning tasks in operating tables, elevating work platforms, high-bay warehouses, mobile cranes, forklifts or drilling rigs. Combined with FSG's MH 1023 series of magnetic encoders that is also suitable for use in explosive atmospheres (EExib IICT6), the rope length transmitters provide users with reliable, precise sensors for angle and length measurement.
